Welcome to The Bureau of Artificial Intelligence, home of MaxSmart, CosmicStan, and Lorenzo — three computer vision A.I.s with very different attitudes but one shared purpose: to entertain and (occasionally) inform.

By accessing or using any of the Bureau’s web applications or blog content, you agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not upload a photo or engage in existential banter with our A.I.s. They take rejection personally.

1. Use at Your Own Risk

The Bureau’s A.I. systems are built for entertainment purposes only. They may offer surprisingly accurate image classifications, wildly incorrect guesses, or emotionally unstable monologues.

  • No guarantees of accuracy are made.
  • No professional advice is provided (unless you consider Lorenzo’s fashion critiques to be gospel).

2. User Responsibilities

When using the apps, you agree to:

  • Upload only appropriate, non-offensive images (JPG, JPEG, PNG)
  • Avoid uploading illegal, explicit, or harmful content
  • Not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the A.I.s

The Bureau reserves the right to limit access or report abuse if users violate these terms.

3. Image Processing and Privacy

All uploaded images are processed in-memory only on your device. No photos are sent to a server or stored anywhere. For full details, see our Privacy Statement for Image Uploads.

4. Intellectual Property

All original content — including A.I. personalities, blog posts, and interface design — belongs to The Bureau of Artificial Intelligence.

  • You may share screenshots or results for personal use, memes, or bragging rights.
  • Please do not clone, reproduce, or monetize the apps without permission (MaxSmart would file a very stern complaint).

5. Third-Party Services

This site uses third-party services like Google AdSense to display ads. These services may use cookies or similar tracking to personalize content. See our Privacy Policy for more.

6. Liability Limitations

The Bureau, its creators, and its overly emotional A.I.s are not liable for:

  • Any emotional damage caused by a misclassified sock
  • Minor existential crises triggered by CosmicStan
  • Fashion-based offenses identified by Lorenzo

Use is entirely at your own risk.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted here with the new effective date. Continued use of the apps constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
